Join music aficionado, Sulaiman Jamal as he enthralls us with an afternoon of music as a metaphor of life.
Without music, life would be an error. – Friedrich Nietzsche
Music can stir, it can call forth tears, make us swell with healthy pride and exuberance; it can instil joy, provoke our deepest thoughts and make us want to dance. It can inspire creativity, or take us to the depths of despair. Music can calm inner turmoil or set the pace for revolution and violence. There’s no better person better than Sulaiman Jamal to take us through this journey of re-discovering music.
In this highly interactive session, Sulaiman will share stories about his personal journey with music and how it has transformed him as a human being. He will also narrate how some of life’s most defining moments are inescapably linked with music and how every single human can harness its power to lead a life less ordinary. As an added bonus, Sulaiman who plays the saxophone, harmonica, flute, banjo and guitar will also bring along few instruments and demonstrate the magic for those of us fortunate to hear him perform.
The session will be followed by cocktails and lunch at Bangalore’s latest restaurant – the ultra-chic rooftop Bricklane Grill in Indiranagar.
